- Letter from John B. Bachelder in New York dated March 17, 1864. In the letter, Bachelder asks Dan B. Allen to fill out the chart on the bottom of the page, which lists the number of men and officers killed, wounded, and taken prisoner during the Battle of Gettysburg. Also included is a map, which Bachelder asks Allen to mark with the position of their troops.
