- Letter from Meshech Weare in Portsmouth, NH, to his wife Mehitable Weare in Hampton Falls, NH, dated January 4, 1755. In the letter, Meshech thanks his wife for the items she sent and advises her to sell the oxen for the money. He ends by saying he hopes to be home soon.
