- Letter from Nick [Lawrence Carter] to Chief Justice Frank R. Kenison of the New Hampshire Supreme Court in Concord, NH, dated February 9, 1959. In the letter, Carter notes he has enclosed copies of the correspondence he has received from the Director of Admissions, Edward T. Chamberlain, at Dartmouth College regarding his son Tom's application. Attached is a letter from Chamberlain to Carter dated February 3, 1959, stating they have concerns regarding Tom's application; a copy of a report card from the Friends Academy in Locust Valley, NY; and a letter from Carter to Chamberlain regarding Tom's achievements and an inquiry to where the deficit is in his application.
