Scope and Content:

The East Concord Garden Club Records, 1935-1998, consist of nine boxes, six of which are oversized. The oversized boxes contain scrapbooks that archive the club's entire previous year. All club yearbooks, which document the schedule of the clubs monthly meetings bound in one small annual book, are in their own individual box in chronological order. The remaining two boxes contain the notebooks with handwritten meeting notes, and photos--digital and Polaroid. Photos are stored across three folders, two of which contains photos of identifiable people, whose names are written on the backs of the photos. The remaining folders contain miscellaneous records mainly in chronological order unless otherwise indicated on the folder. These records mainly contain documentation of normal club activities-- such as meeting minutes and notes, correspondence, annual reports from presidents and treasurers. The collection is not chronologically complete: notably, yearbooks for certain years are missing, and the scrapbooks only cover ten years in total.
