- Records of the Mather School Civic League formed in Sept. 1910. Dorchester, MA. The object of the League was the betterment of Mather School, minutes of meetings reflect concern and actions on cleaning up school grounds and nearby streets. 1914 minutes reflects a concern for behavior and accumulated "stars" for such things as filing, manual training, cooking, etc.
