Scope and Content:

Volume from a shoemaking business possibly from Alton, NH, with entries from 1872 to 1877. The spine states, "C. C. Mooney Soleather book" and the volume records the name of the worker, number of pairs of shoes made, sizes, quality, and number care. After the shoemaking accounts are entries for H. L. Barr and Dean Allen for labor and supplies, including shingles and nails, dated 1921 to 1922. Only half the volume is used. The volume has a grey and red mottled board cover and leather spine.
