Scope and Content:

The Sylvia Larsen Political Greetings and Cards consists primarily of Christmas cards from United States politicians to New Hampshire State Senator Sylvia Larsen, who served from 1994 to 2014. The cards date from 1997 to 2021 and come from such politicians as United States senators, representatives, presidents, vice presidents, and New Hampshire mayors, governors, and legislators. The majority of these politicians are in the Democratic Party. These cards are organized into folders by the name of the politician, though many of the cards also feature their families and pets. Other documents in this collection include invitations to and announcements of presidential inaugurations, holiday White House booklets (some of which contain holiday recipes and crafts), invitations to holiday receptions at the White House, and a program for the funeral services of Clesson J. Blaisdell.
