- Letter from Helen to Myrtie. She writes it is impossible to keep the tears back and she feels so sorry for her but she had to leave this morning as she would have cried and then she would have started crying and then they would have been wailing. She writes she would have been so broken if Mr. Ray had been taken during his operation but he was gone for over a year before he really died so when he passed it was not such a shock nor sorrow as what she is going through. She writes she cannot tell how sorry she is and she hopes some great blessing comes to her and will help with the grief. Envelope is postmarked 1925 December 16.
