- Letter from Harry to Blanche Nutting. He appears to be another classmate from the Class of 1916. He writes that he was going to write her but thought he should wait later in the day in case he had a new letter from her and her letter arrived in the noon mail. He tells her he is able to write her in the afternoon because the camp is working on disbandment and that he turned in his equipment that morning. He is glad to hear that there is snow and he has been granted permission from his father to return to his education so he plans on writing the Dean in Hanover that he will be returning on December 30. He concludes the letter that someone has asked him to come play poker but he declines to keep writing Blanche but then he is called away to help take care of equipment and the sooner things get done the sooner he can get home. Letter is dated 1918 December 9, envelope is postmarked 1918 December 10.
