- Letter from Norm to Blanche Nutting. He thanks her for his letter and that while he is starting to feel better his voice is barely above a whisper. He will not be able to come home as they are only giving 24hour furloughs. He is miserable and says recieivng "letters from home are the only good things that are coming my way." Letter is dated 1918 October 20. Envelope is postmarked 1918 October 20.
