Restoration: The New Hampshire State House was produced by Accompany for the New Hampshire State House Bicentennial and is copyright 2018. In 2016 a complete and thorough restoration project was done of the New Hampshire State House Dome. New wood, new paint, new gold, and when it was done, the 200 year old State House looked almost brand new. Most people only saw the scaffolding that surrounded the dome or heard the noise of hammers and saws from above as they walked by the State House. This documentary takes the viewer up onto the scaffold to see the extent of the work undertaken and hear the story from the people who did that work. It is a celebration of the care and affection that went into every part of the restoration and the craftsmen who brought their talents to the job. This documentary aired on New Hampshire Public Televison in January 2019.
