- The Timberlock Lodge Photograph collection consists of approximately 100 photographs of Timberlock Lodge, a ten-cottage summer resort on Newfound Lake in Bridgewater, NH, between 1938 (including the aftermath of the 1938 hurricane) and 1944. Owned by John and Emily Gosda, it was largely run by Emily and their son, Raymond, with John there on the weekends. The photographs in the collection are of the landscape, buildings, activities available to summer visitors/renters, and people enjoying the beach and water. A few are postcards of the property. The collection also includes Raymond Gosda's memories of the summers he worked there and his descriptions of some of the photographs. There is an original brochure as well as one from Raymond's 2004 visit to the resort, at which time the establishment had been renamed "Timberloch Lodge."
