- The Literary Club Journals, 1862-1873, contains 16 journals from the Literary Club of Portsmouth, NH. The collection includes one copy of "The School Budget" edited by Fannie L. Petty dated March 22, 1862, eight copies and five covers of "Iota Sigma, Our Paper dated 1864 to 1870, and seven copies of "The Mosaic" dated 1870-1873. The journals contain membership lists where present, reports, stories, poems, and some news items. Each of the journals is hand-written.
