- Account books of Charles Chase Woodman (1814-1895), a farmer and blacksmith from Strafford, NH, dated 1839 through 1960. The first volume dates from May 1839 through November 1845 and includes a running total of work done for individuals and the amount owed for that work. The second volume, a daybook, dates from December 28, 1847 through December 13, 1860 and contains daily accounts of Woodman's work.
