Photographic print from the Concord Monitor dated July 19, 1958. The image shows Nancy L. Baxter and an exhibit of early colonial furniture. The caption states, "Concord Monitor July 19, 1958 17TH CENTURY EXHIBIT-Visitors at the Historical Society building are able to view a special temporary exhibit of early Colonial furniture. Miss Nancy L. Baxter, 122 Warren street, is shown here adjusting a candle lantern o top of a desk loaned by the estate of Charles H. Batchelder of Portsmouth. The desk and wainscot chair, also a loan from the Batchelder estate, were made between 1660 and 1700. Crewelwork bedspread hanging on the wall is also early New England."
