Indian maidens escort the float of the White Mountain National Forest 'The Spirit of the Waterfall', an allegorical representation of the legend of the Indian Maiden who chose a death leap into the turbulent waters of Glen Ellis Falls rather than separation from her lover. When the wind is right the sweet strains of the Spirit's lullaby may be heard about the roar of the water. Indian Maiden costums [costumes] sponsored by the Town of Warren.
