Broadside announcing the beginning of the fall term at Tubbs' Union Academy in Washington, NH. The broadside includes information on staff and teachers, the start of term date, location, and tuition. The broadside lists the members of the Prudential Committee, which include Martin Chase, Austin Newton, David M'Questen, Daniel Greenleaf, Nathan Adams, William B. French, and Asaph Wilson, and is dated July 11, 1849. A note on the back states Misses Sarah J. and Eliza A. Felch and Miss Sucy J. Messer of Sutton, NH, have paid. A separate note on the back appears to be in a child's hand.
