- Appointment of Chase Taylor as Major of the Tenth Regiment, New Hampshire Militia dated December 25, 1784. The appointment is signed by Meshech Weare and Ebenezer Thompson. A handwritten note at the bottom of the appointment is a signed affidavit that Taylor took the oath required of the Constitution of the United States.
