Scope and Content:

Broadside advertising Tafeu, a farm and garden fertilizer, being sold by Dodge Hayward. The broadside was printed by Jones & Cogswell, Printers in Concord, NH. The advertisement details the benefits and price of using Tafeu promising better and quicker growing crops. The bottom of the broadside contains two sworn statements to the validity of Dodge Hayward. The first statement is dated November 20, 1856 and the second is dated November 25, 1856. The first is signed by fellow farmers: R.D. Buswell, John Fisk, Amos Sawyer, R.K. Buswell, W.B. Thompson, and John Sawyer, Jr. The second statement is signed by George Abbot, Justice of the Peace.
