- Typed transcription of a charter regarding articles of covenants agreed upon regarding New England, dated December 14, 1622. The articles include granting David Thomson 6,000 acres of land in New England, agreeing to send ships with men and provisions to this land, and to find appropriate space to build houses and other buildings to mark settlement. The charter goes on to discuss the splitting of land in five years time and the distribution of the profits. The original from which this transcript was taken is at the Massachusetts Historical Society.\n
