Scope and Content:

The broadside illustrates the 1860 United States Presidential Campaign in color. The broadside shows portraits of each Presidential and Vice Presidential candidate for the election. Underneath the portraits are short biographies of the candidates, which highlight their experience. Images of former presidents are along the sides of the broadside with an image of President George Washington along the top. There is also a map of the United States and short essays about each of the parties and the candidates in the election.
