- Lease between Hugh Gillis and Jotham Gillis, both of Merrimack, NH, dated April 3, 1786. The document states that Jotham shall lease the farm now occupied by Hugh under the condition that he will improve the farm and will give half the produce of the farm, including oats and cider, to Hugh. The lease states they will split the taxes on the farm and share the cellar and barn. The document is signed by Hugh Gillis, Rachel Gillis, and Sarah Gillis.
