- Biographical sketch of the private and military life of the late Sergent George W. Gove of Henniker, NH, by an unidentified author. Gove was a member of Company G, 9th New Hampshire Volunteers during the Civil War. He was severly wounded on September 14, 1862 at the battle of South Mountain and died from his injuries on October 12, 1862.
