Mattice dated December 26, 1888, Chandler writes of the steam heating and refrigerating plant of the Washington Market Company. J.H. Gallinger writes the third letter on August 4, 1894 to an unknown recipient about a speech he gave on the American Tariffs. Gallinger also writes the fourth letter on April 19, 1898 to Charles Ellicock about his trip to Cuba and also encloses a speech he gave to the Senate on the situation in Cuba (not included). The last letter in the collection was written by Cyrus A. Sulloway on July 15, 1900 about a pension.
