- Letter from Sarah Elizabeth Harper Monmouth to Susan Cogswell dated March 19, 1878. In the letter, Monmouth discusses her financial difficulties, noting she believed her money was in safe hands and did not realize it has been gone for two years. She goes on to tell of her attempts to get justice, that she refuses to sell her house, and then foes on to discuss the popularity of her lectures, depite the travel wearing her down.
