- Partial unsigned letter, presumably from William Adams Moore at Camp Butler to Edwin. Dated June 17, 1861, the Moore notes he received Edwin's letter and goes on to tell of their recent activities at the camp. He notes he believes they will be making some 'grand movement' soon, which he thinks is to Yorktown. Moore asks if he should write everyday, that way they will know if he doesn't write, something has happened to him.
