John Stark (Jr.) is represented by a deed, 1810, while his son, John (3d) is represented by a letter, 1838, concerning hiring a schoolmaster in Manchester. General John Stark's son Caleb is represented by three letters, one dated 1832 which describes his travels through Ohio and in which he voices his thoughts on the sanctity of the Union of the states, which he feels should be divided, creating two empires.
