- Charles S. Fisher apparently started in the grocery business in Manchester, New Hampshire, but soon entered the mortuary business. From 1869 to 1874 he advertised his coffins and undertaking in the city directories. This bill, with a letterhead showing an elaborate coffin, is made out to Cyrus Moore for removing Moore's wife's body from Pine Grove.
