- Arthur W. Brown worked for Newman's Pharmacy on Central Avenue in Dover, first as the clerk and later as the proprietor. This volume contains formulas for a variety of concoctions such as bed bug poison, hair dye, laundry blue, battery fluid, chilblain lotion, horehound syrup and infant cordial. The formula were used for both human and horse consumption or application.
