- Letter from H. W. [possibly Harriet W.] Dame to her sister Mary, dated September 30, 1878. In the letter, H. W. discusses the change in the weather, the upcoming fair, and the changes being made to the church across the street. She notes they have added a new fresco, pews, and windows, costing fifteen to twenty thousand. She ends the letter by discussing her health.
