- Letter from John Carter in Concord, NH, to John Griffin in Northwood, NH, dated March 23, 1830. In the letter, Carter notes Thomas Griffin was enlisted in Concord and was wounded in the battle at Bridgewater. He states he has been informed Thomas has died in the service, but has "nothing sertain [certain]."
