- Typed transcription and photocopy of the diary of Alphonso E. Osborn, enlisted in Company I, 3rd NH Volunteers as James Smith, 1864. The original was presented to the Peterborough Historical Society on July 13, 1999. The first few pages of the diary include a calendar, information on postal rates, 1860 census data, foreign monetary exchange rates, information on calculating legal interest rates, distances from NY to major US cities in miles and hours, and a small lunar almanac.
