In the foreground are three pine branches framing a view of a lake with a single sailboat. In the background are hills, a church steeple, and a mountain in front of clouds. It is signed within the image "BARBARA / AITKEN / SMITH / 38". In the lower left margin is printed "Copies of this poster, issued by the State Planning and Development Commission, may be purchased at a price of 25 cents from the Commission at Concord."
