- Matchbook. Political campaign matchbook, paper, red and blue on white, c. 1962-1964. The matchbook contains paper matches with red heads. The front has a photograph of John Pillsbury and "FOR NEW / LEADERSHIP." On reverse side: "JOHN / PILLSBURY / FOR / GOVERNOR / CLOSE COVER BEFORE STRIKING." On top edge: "REPUBLICAN." On bottom edge: "D.D. BEAN & SONS CO., JAFFREY, N.H." Inside: Pillsbury's experience plus "Arthur H. Nighswander / Fiscal Agent / 507 Main Street / Laconia, N.H." The matches are all intact and unused.
