Exported many clocks to India and other overseas countries. Started selling some brass movement clocks after 1838, but made wooden movment clocks well into the late 1840s. He died in 1871, and the business was carred on as Daniel Pratt's Son from 1871-1880. The business was finally dissolved in 1916 with the death of Daniel's son Frank W. B. Pratt.
