Notes:
MARRIAGE: Married __ Jermyn by 1933, at the time of the loan of 1933.002. However, by the time of the next correspondence in the 1950s, Gracia explained that she was divorced and going by her maiden name, Gracia Randall. On a 1938 ship passenger list -- from Bermuda to NY -- she is listed as Gracia Randall of 122 W. Wyoming Ave., Melrose, MA. A 1950 airline passenger list -- also from Bermuda to NY -- she is again listed as Gracia Randall, 122 W. Wyoming Ave., Melrose.
INHERITANCE: correspondence in the accession file for 1933.2 (silver bread basket) states that she (Gracia Randall) inherited Atkinson and Appleton family heirlooms from Lucy Frances Appleton Fehse (1850-1932), in 1933, and in that year Gracia also loans several of those items to NHHS. The correspondence does not indicate in what capacity these two women were connected. However, Gracia's mother, Ida E. White (1877-1949), and Lucy Fehse do appear on the same cruise passenger list in 1932, Lucy being 81 years old and Ida E. being 53 years old. Lucy's address is listed as 73 W. Wyoming Ave. on that passenger list, and Ida's as 122 W. Wyoming Ave., Melrose.
