Notes:
Alma was the only child of Hannah A. Morse and Sidney C. Putnam. She was born in New Hampshire, perhaps Croydon, where her mother grew up; the family moved to Hyde Park or Dedham, MA, when Alma was growing up. Beyond that, she is only reported in the Hyde Park census records (1870, 1880, 1900, 1920).
Sidney is listed as a RR freight agent in the 1870 census, and farmer in the 1860 census.
In the 1880 census, she is listed as single, living with her parents.
By the 1900 census, she is married to Henry R. Stone, and has as resident her mother, Hannah A. Morse Putnam, and her grandmother, Chloe Carroll Morse.
In the 1920 census, Alma's mother is still living with Alma and Henry.
Alma died by 1925, when her husband Henry donated a chair (1925.14) with long family history through Alma's Morse ancestors, to NHHS in her memory.
