Note that there are several individuals named Asa Burnham in the Goffstown/Dunbarton region throughout the 19th century. This one could be Asa Burham (c.1813-), husband of Lucinda Cunningham (1821-); they reisded on her father's (Samuel Cunningham) farm in Goffstown, N.H. (with two sons, Mark and John M.) according to the 1850 census. This same family moved to Reynolds, Ill. by 1870. On both the 1850 and 1870 census, this Asa Burnham is listed as a farmer. There is another Burham family, with several Asa, who moved from the Goffstown/Dunbarton area to Maine; many members of this family were involved with music and musical instruments.
