- The poem The Falls originally appeared in an 1894 thin volume of poetry, by Robert frost titled Twilight. Two copies were printed privately for him; one he later destroyed. Frost gave permission to Bernheimer to print The Falls in facsimilie in this 1947 Christmas card. At the time of printing it was the only other printing of The Falls other than Twilight, 1894.
