The 'new' cemetery referred to in this book was created with land purchased in 1847. Mrs Roxanna (Gee) Osgood was the first person buried in this yard; she died September 14, 1847. This record is arranged alphabetically by surname, and is grouped by section and lot, with many instances of more that one surname in a lot. It is intended to serve as an index to refer to lots.
