Description:
The diary of Thomas Coffin of Boscawen documents a ten year period, from March 17, 1825- March 28, 1835. His diary focuses on his diversified activities, as well as, the weather and first and unusual occurrences in natural cycles. Chores came daily, but visits to relatives, neighbors, church, lectures, the village store, or the mill broke the drudgery.
