- Scope and Content:
- WWII diaries of service in African campaign, Sicily, Italy and France. Austin was a staff sergeant, later a mess sergeant and later administered a rest center in France because of early hotel management training. Addition: 1992 photos, transcribed letters from RHA by father for family 1942-1945. Addition: 1993, diary Aug. 4, 1941 - 2 1/2" x 3 3/4" bound.
