Scope and Content:

Material in this collection was originally compiled for the Concord Public Library, Concord Room by Elwin L. Page and others. It was decided early in 1983 to transfer the material to the New Hampshire Historical Society on permanent loan for safekeeping. The material was inventoried prior to the transfer. The collection consists of mostly manuscript material, but there is some printed material and photographs which will be kept with the collection rather than separated from the manuscript material which is the normal procedure. A separate inventory arranged by subject, in the form of a register will accompany the collection. An index by name will also be prepared.
