- Buckle, Shoe. Pair of silver shoe buckles, ca. 1790, by Benjamin Clark Gilman (1763-1835) of Exeter, NH. The buckles have dome-form silver tops with stamped decoration and a steel frame base. Monogram on the underside "MC" and also marked "BCG" on the underside.
