The seal press was given to the donor by a friend who formerly lived in New Hampshire and Vermont. In the 1970s she purchased a property near Londonderry, Vermont, to turn it into a ski rental. While cleaning out the barn she found what the donor calls Klan "vestments," which she discarded, and this press, which she kept and eventually gave to the donor.
