View overlooking blue lake with many islands; trees and dirt road in foreground; mountains (Ossipee Range, including Mount Shaw) on right; Mount Chocorua in far distance on left; and blue sky with white and pink clouds, reflected in lake. Signed "Sawyer" in white ink on photograph, lower right. No mat. Framed. Original brown backing paper, imprinted "The Sawyer Pictures / Concord, N. H." within triangle in bottom left corner; titled "Lake Winnipesaukee" in black ink along edge of the triangle.
