"It is Feb. 22d 1926. I wore this dress to a Colonial Party today and then I put it away. I am thinking of you four little girls now aged 8-7-4-1. Some time you are going to enjoy wearing this gown that your Grandmother made in 1900....The material a whole bolt (25 yds & 1 yd wide) was given me by a friend who brought it over from China."
