- Surveyor's tripod. Wooden tripod, stained red, now faded to reddish brown. Narrow legs, tapering toward bottom; each can be locked by wooden thumb screw (two missing). Ball and socket joint at top for mounting equipment; also can be locked in place by five wooden thumb screws.
