Dairy cow weighing tape. Blue printing on white Tyvek. 108" long x 1" wide. Two layers, stitched on one edge. Metal tip on each end. Inch scale printed on one side, and three different pound scales on other side, for Holstein, Guernsey, and Jersey. Text on weight side: "DAIRY COW WEIGHING TAPE / This tape estimates the weight of dairy cattle by means of a separate scale of / figures for each major breed. It is based on experiment station data compiled from / measurements on thousands of dairy cattle. It is more accurate because it / recognizes the differences in breeds.", followed by instructions and data sources; at end: "Copyright 1961, Revised 1978. / The Coburn Company, Inc." Agri-Mark is a dairy farmers' cooperative that began in 1916 as the New England Milk Producers Association. It became Agri-Mark in 1980. It merged with Cabot in 1992 and acquired McCadam Cheese in 2003.
