- Uniform shoulder boards, U.S. Navy, World War II. Set of four, from uniform of Lt. Robert Irving Blair (1908-2005) of Newport, NH. Black wool over stiff board. Five-pointed star of metallic gold braid. Two gold stripes. One U.S. Navy gold button. Black leather strap on back, with brass snap. Two snaps stamped "SCOVILL", one stamped "UNITED / CARR", and one missing.
